I was shopping at Westfield Burwood and needed some food as it was getting late in the day and wanted a late lunch. This food outlet has had a few re-incarnations and seemed to have changed names a few times. They also have a mini sushi train on one side of the store with a few stools.
The menu board caught my eye and decided to give this place a try. The service is friendly and quick. I went with a Teriyaki Chicken Noodle and Fried Gyoza (Pork). The noodle dish was generous in size and the flavours were fantastic too and this was cooked to order. I really liked the sauce and high proportion of noodles to chicken and vegetables. I think the sushi train here is good and reasonably priced. I always come at lunchtime so the sushis are always fresh, otherwise you can also order the sushi from the menu. The rice dishes were good, but ramen was so-so (just because I'm very particular prefer ramen from specialty ramen restaurants), but definitely come here for the sushi. Service is just ok and fast.
Can't believe how affordable the platters are here! Everything in the platter I got was delicious, just wish there was more soy sauce in the little container rather than the fish ones. It's been a while between visits and we had no trouble finding seating on this particular public holiday weekday.
Sit up at the sushi train or at one of the tables. You'll find the usual sushi train fare with plates ranging in price from $3 to $8.90. The tuna salad and chicken teriyaki sushi plates we had were fine. Service is polite.

I recall being here years ago during my high-school years and was a delight.
Going now, majority of the staff don't give the most welcoming vibe. The food is very average and small. Not too sure if things have changed here but it's certainly not a place to rave about sadly!
Average Japanese Restaurant. Miso Ramen is just ok, not tasty. Ayers Rock Chicken is juicy with chili mayo sauce on top, combined nicely with rice and cucumber. Really love it. Menu is quite standard with reasonable price.
Average bento for $9, a good filling lunch with a variety of portioned dishes. The sweet chili chicken works well with the rice, and the noodles tasted strongly like sesame oil.
This is our regular sushi place we go to, there's a reason why I keep going back, is so damn good!!
I've been going here for years and never left disappointed..

Been to this restuarant many times, always satisfied with the food and service, rice is always fresh and the portions and prices are reasonable
