You must like fish to come to this restaurant. There is only one non-fish dish on the menu, and that is a faux filet. Everything else is either sea food or fish, either cooked or raw. We're not into raw bars so we skipped the house specialties of enormous platters of shell fish served as both appetizers and main courses. We went the more traditional root with grilled salmon, grilled tuna, and a platter of a variety of grilled fish and shrimp. Every morsel was devoured and we truly enjoyed our meal. There is a fish market next to the restaurant, and a bar where locals like to gather to chat. The restaurant itself is elegant and refined, with excellent service. Reasonably priced too. Loved our...
En route to Marineland we passed this restaurant, which is located just across the road from the train station. Knowing the limited choice of options for food at the parks, we decided to have lunch before spending the afternoon at the parks. The restaurant is on the side of a busy road with outdoor tables and a large indoor seating area. The service was the best I have ever had in France-the menu was in French and in English and had a very good choice.I had Duck, my husband had lamb and my son had Bolognaise and some French fries. The food was excellent and I'm still thinking about my pepper sauce which came with the duck.. My son had ice cream and he swears its the best ice cream he ever had!
Although we've eaten here many times since my review some 18 months ago we have always enjoyed super, fresh, seafood and we did so on our visit earlier this month - but the service has really gone downhill. We waited for about 50 minutes before our food arrived and they brought our mains before our starters! Unfortunately they expected us to eat both courses together! We put this down to new , inexperienced staff but they charge top dollar for their food so it needs to be addressed. Food good but service abysmal.
This is a speciality seafood and fish restaurant so the choice of a meat is limited, however if you want a plate or two of really fresh shellfish followed by Turbot, Sole etc, then this takes some beating.I went with friends and enjoyed a crab as a starter followed by poached Turbot - both delicious. The wines are reasonably priced and the service is fairly prompt but you shouldn't rush, just enjoy . Reserva una mesa ahora
This restaurant is located next door to a fishmongers and they share the same name. Accordingly the food is as fresh as it gets. The staff are very, very friendly and this helps to turn the meal into an experience. One slight gripe is that the wine list is not very extensive, although the wines featured were pleasant. If you are in the Biot region I would give this place a try.
The food was very good and the seafood freshly cooked. The service was a bit slow and the menue for children was rather boring with chicken nuggets or salmon.I had langoustines for starter and then a grilled dourade for maincourse. We would like to come back. The atmosphere outside was very nice although it is close to the road.
Had a lovely meal here. Restaurant is by a road but noise not a problem. They were happy to change some of the shellfish in our platter for different choices. Another day we bought a similar platter for take away. Both times were good value. Will certainly be back
