La Baguette Bakery And Catering

We discovered this bakery during our trip from the state, and we were thrilled by our find. As city residents, if we lived closer, we would definitely visit more often. The mushroom and Swiss quiche was incredible, while the pastry was light and airy. The apple Danish was delightful—sweet and fluffy. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Although we haven't tried the blueberry cruffin, éclair, or nougat cream puff yet, we thoroughly enjoyed our other selections. They even included a free bag of day-old sweets, which was a nice touch. I work just down the street and finally had the chance to stop by today. The lovely staff member was very helpful, and I'm definitely coming back! I wanted to try everything, but I opted for the salted caramel muffin (a croissant/muffin hybrid) and it was absolutely divine—melted in my mouth! The buttery croissant combined with the sweet custard flavors was incredible. I also picked up an almond croissant, a cheese baguette, and a savory roll (which I devoured as soon as I got home after a long night at work). That roll will definitely become a regular treat for me; the crispy exterior and the gooey cheese inside were simply delightful!

From out of state and we stumbled across this bakery. Thank goodness we are from out of town otherwise we would be there way too often. Incredible mushroom and swiss quiche, the crust is light and the egg is light and airy. Apple Danish was sweet and light. Staff was knowledgeable. Haven't tried the blueberry cruffin, eclair, or the nougatin creme puff, yet from our purchases. They included a complimentary bag of sweets(assuming it was day old). Their raspberry Danish was so good. Cinnamon roll was made with croissant dough, and had nuts in it. If these items were day old, I would take day old over... hmm well anything!

"The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. There are plenty of options on the menu, making it a great place for a party. The restaurant is well-maintained, and arriving early is advised to enjoy the best selection and avoid the lunch rush."

Clean place, good food, friendly staff. My only tip is that even when it’s not crowded, you should expect a bit of a wait for your food. I understand that it takes time to prepare, but it eats into the lunch period. Call ahead.

Valentine’s dinner was superb. We pre-ordered beef tenderloin Maitre d’hotel and the seared salmon gingembre. The meal was perfect, flavorful and topped off by one of the best chocolate mousse desserts we’ve had.

The best flocky pasty ever. They offer so many beautiful sweet pastries, but do not overlook their wonderful savory options too-quiche, bags, crepes, sandwiches. All right. This place is a real Dover treasure.

Incredibly friendly staff and probably the best baked goods I've ever had. Try the spinach puff pastry! Did not expect it to be so flavorful. Could eat that every day.

An amazing bakery and breakfast and lunch! We were at Bayhealth Kent and needed some scar. This is close and OMG so delicious! Feta and Spinach revenues are amazing!

Quiche was delicious. Liked they have a cooler for salads and lunch items to go. No indoor dining but nice patio tables and chairs outside the front of the bakery
