The atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant are warm and inviting. I really enjoyed the decor and the friendly staff. The French onion soup was fantastic. We ordered the duck and lamb specialties, both of which were delicious, though the duck could have been improved. We wanted to try the chocolate soufflé, but we were only informed that we needed to order it at the same time as our entrees when we tried to place our dessert order. As a result, we ended up getting a chocolate cake, which was decent. Overall, I would definitely go back.
We were so excited to find fine French food without having to go to Manhattan. The staff was very nice, accommodating and friendly. The food was mediocre at best. My mussels appetizer tasted burnt and my husband?s quiche tasted store bought. My duckentree was okay and my husband?s beef was okay. Nothing was really good, just ?eh.? The restaurant is quaint but dated. Thereis carpeting throughout which we absolutely don?t like, hides dirt and didn?t look clean. Disappointing and we won?t be back.
This is a family-run restaurant, and as a result, the service is personalized and attentive. The food was fresh. I ordered the Tagine, which I wished had a bit more Moroccan spices and beef that was more tender and juicy. However, I would definitely return to try another dish because my friend's meals looked and tasted delicious.
While it may be somewhat expensive, the quality of this restaurant makes it well worth it. If you want to mark a special occasion at an intimate and high-quality small restaurant, this is the perfect spot. I have been a regular customer here for nearly ten years.

Celebrated with my family here for the first and loved the place. The decor is nice, vintage French and the food was amazing as well. Service was great, the family was very hospitable. Definitely recommend for a celebration or romantic date.

I'd say this is a hidden gem, a rustic French restaurant with plenty of options. Service can be a little bit less friendly especially when you're not familiar with French culture.
