La Barrica - Reservar una mesa

We enjoyed this restaurant so much on our recent trip to Los Gigantes that we went there for 6 nights. The food is fresh,sourced locally, cooked to perfection and represents the best you will get in canarian cuisine. They serve a range of mouth watering steaks, giant pork chops that would serve a family of four yet melt in your mouth, chicken in a canarian style sauce and if you are feeling adventurous their speciality of rabbit and goat. The salad is the most amazing i have ever eaten with a sumptious selection of olives, lettuce, juicy tomatoes, cucumber,advocado and the finishing touch grilled halloumi draped tantalisingly across the top. They also serve local wine, with red being served cold, which was surprising but amazing. The most amazing thing however was the bill which has to be seen to be believed with a meal for four with mains, home made chips, salad,canarian potatoes and copious amounts of wine coming out at less than 80 euroes. Add to this the wonderful service, fabulous chefs and the nothing is too much trouble attitude of the waiter Manuel and you will understand why we can't wait for July when we will most certainly be returning.

Not that there’s anything wrong with them they were delicious. I have a big appetite, I can get through most meals. But the T bone weighed in at a full kilo and I struggled to finish it. My wife had the pork fillet and that was massive and somebody else had the chop on the table next to us and that was huge too. So to clarify the portions were BIG. But also and most importantly they were delicious. Would go again.

typical spanish restaurant, easy to find it, but a bit hard to park. Nice selection of meat dishes, the lamb chops are great. The steak was not cooked how my husband asked for it, but still enjoyed it. In total we enjoyed our lunch there. Booking a table is adviseable sometimes they are very busy.

Excellent Food and fair prices. Very friendly People! We fully recommend this Restaurant. Dont eat to much so you can try the desserts. They are very delicous
