I confirm, the kitchen is good for having tasted it. On the other hand don't book the same day via TheFork, you learn 2 hours before the restaurant is complete and when you call, no excuse is your fault, you should not book at the last moment... Moreover, when one manifests one agrees that one will not learn from the restaurateur his profession: indeed I have nothing to teach him to fill his room since he practises what can be called superbooking. I recommended this restaurant to my sister for her birthday. There were transport disruptions yesterday so we arrived 20 mins late than the time booked. Upon arrival the manager kept on telling me in front of all the customers that I was late that he should actually mark me as a ‘no show’. I would totally understand if the restaurant was full but there was space inside and outside.. we had the choice. This is Very disappointing given my first experience at la bascule last year was great. The waiter was very nice thought. I doubt I’ll go again.. the manager must be friendly with all customers. I was not expecting to be ‘told off’ given there was some space.
