La Bastide du Bois Breant

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a self-guided biking trip through Provence and it was the highlight of our journey. The innkeepers, Sandrine and Katya were so pleasant and lovely. They speak very good English, and allowed me practice my poor French on them. Our room was huge with a separate attached bath that had a big modern shower and a clawfoot tub! They accommodated our requests for gluten free dining. The food was absolutely fantastic. Excellent local wines. The grounds are lovely, with a beautiful pool. I'd love to stay here a week. Breakfast was the usual French continental, excellent pastries, yogurt, ham, cheese, etc. And divine coffee!

Following a couple of meals last year, we booked again (for 9 adults) received a very pleasant response saying that they remembered our visit and looked forward to welcoming us. Sadly our arrival on the Sunday evening was completely unexpected and rather strange. Welcomed like old friends, all hands shaken etc and then a blank look. Sandrine had forgotten to complete both our bookings and we were shown the door. No effort to accomodate us or to find an alternative, needless to say we won't be going back.

From Bonjour till the end the restaurant was fabulous. Being from Alabama and speaking very little French I thought was going to be difficult IT WAS NOT. The owners daughter spoke fluent English and made their home feel like our home. Food was amazing and made way for us that didn’t eat fish they made us something similar to pot roast and carrots. If you are in the area you must go to this place you will not leave hungry!

We just spent a night in this fabulous place. Tiffany's welcome is very warm. The room is spacious and decorated with a lot of goutle park is beautiful, the very romantic swimming pool. The evening kitchen was of a family type (very good.) if you don't like what is on the menu, another solution is offered to you breakfast more than satisfactory. You can go with your eyes closed. if the team arrived very recently (April 2017), the bastide is managed with great professionalism! we stayed there two days in a group of 15 people for a professional seminar . welcome, rooms and cabins, services, kitchen, outdoor and indoor spaces : we found no negative points !I even reserved for this summer, come back with family this time!

Dined here as part of hotel stay. Rustic honest food excellent aubergine Parmesan cheese bake followed by freshly caught trout, a cheese board and chocolate fondant pudding friendly family affair.

beautiful bastide in a quiet green setting, very warm welcome spacious and well decorated room rich and varied breakfast, sweet and salty with homemade jams a delight to redo in May /June
