The restaurant, a converted authentic Provencal sheepfold, is situated in a quiet location adjacent to the quaint Maureau Park. The outdoor seating is canopied by magnificent plane trees with a pleasant afternoon sun. Inside the restaurant is simply but very tastefully decorated, with adequate space...between the tables. The menu is quite varied with a fine selection of wines. My sister chose the fish with escargots, my niece and I chose the beef with butternut puree. All were excellent, very well prepared and well presented. The portions were generous but not overly so. Première visite dans la bastide du Moulin à poivre par un beau dimanche midi de juillet : un véritable régale pour les papilles.Outre le cadre chaleureux, nous avons eu droit à un déjeuner d'exception. Les cuissons étaient parfaites, les accompagnements succulents et les desserts rafraîchissants. Petit ++ pour le foie gras servi en entrée !!Et inutile de préciser que l'accueil qui nous a été réservé fut à la hauteur du voyage culinaire. that is a beautiful restaurant on a small road in pelissanne. it has both inside and outside seats. we ate in the courtyard under roof covered tables with white bed linen tablecloths and candles. Around the farm are in floor and potting plants and subtle lighting....The eating was fresh and tasty and the wine was excellent. the wife of the chef, valerie, was very attentive. I'm just sorry we discovered this restaurant when we went home. the restaurant is closed on Sundays and on Mondays, like most restaurants in the surroundings. this is a family business and restaurant with the slow food movement that promotes local cuisine and traditional cuisine.
Okay, it's a little hard to find, and they need a little geduld here. but it is excellent cuisine. the chef is a genie, his wife valerie works very hard to cover all tables. we had the salat noix de st jacques'. scallops served on a bed of chopped salad with melon slices delicious. yes, the pata negra is amazing. I just want for the court. valerie also suggested an excellent wine, which was one of the best we tasted throughout our trip. valerie pointed out that the pata negra pork dish was organic/organic', and also slow food'.

Les propriétaires sont deux, font tout eux mêmes et n'aiment pas les surprises.Donc:1. Réservez autrement vous serez la cause du malheur des autres.2. Attendez qu'on s'occupe de vous.3. Et surtout ayez au moins 3 heures de temps.Ils se défendent avec le slogan "slow food" et en effet tout est très lent, voir trop.Une fois accepté cela, le repas est très bon, les légumes bio, les assiettes copieuses, l'environnement dans la cour vraiment agréable et sympa.Et les propriétaires, s'ils sont détendus, sont sympas aussi.
On nous avait mis en garde des "humeurs" du patron quand à la qualité de l'accueil dans ce restaurant. Heureusement, il n'en a rien été; nous avons été accueilli par la patronne qui est charmante.Vous dînerez dans un cadre très agréable au milieu d'un jardin ombragé au coeur du village de Pélissanne.Enfin, la cuisine est hélas beaucoup trop riche et grasse, ce qui est hélas un mauvais point à signaler...Hélas,D+F
everything is simply perfect: very welcoming owner and her whole family working in the restaurant. delicious dishes, a mixture of creative and traditional. great dinner with very good wine.
IT is a restaurant serving high quality food with high quality of services. We had a diner in the garden and we really enjoyed everything. IT was perfect !
