the restaurant "the beautiful adventure" is located on the commune of Saint flaive of wolves 85150 and not the sands of Olonne (as indicated by tripadvisor), road of nieul dolent. we are in the middle of the countryside about 20 km from the rock on yon, chief place of sale, and about 20 km from the sands of olonne by the sea. The gourmet passport, which gives right once in the year to a 50% discount for two people, is accepted on the menus at 21 € or 25 € (entrance, dish, cheese tray, dessert.) with my wife we choose the menu at 25 €. the choice is wide, we choose to enter snails in sauce (local breeder of beautiful place under the rock.) it is very good, it changes traditional snails stuffe...
We stay in Jard every year and have done all of those restaurants so following a recommendation we decided to drive out to this restaurant. Its about a 25-30 minute drive from Jard Sur Mer. There is an ample car park and its a nice well presented building. We were a party of 9 and were greeted warmly. We had 2 children with us and one baby and they were very accommodating although at the time of our visit they were quiet. The inside of the restaurant is large and set on two floors. It was very clean and reflected the good impression from the outside. They have a decent sized menu with all of the normal 'french dishes and a very appealing 12 euro lunch menu. None of the party had any complain...

Situated on a country road, this restaurant is well worth a visit. With very welcoming owners, a warm traditional venue and lovely atmosphere, the choice of dishes is varied, the food very good and the 'menu ouvrier ', the 3-course cheaper menu for workmen, amazing value for money. A lovely place for lunch and well worth finding. Three courses for 22 euros including in my case snails in garlic and cream, filet of perch and a lovely cherry tart. A Vendeen wine, Mareuil, for 17 euros, attentive service, bread and somewhere we will return to in the summer to sit outside.
