When I went to Montauban, I had accidentally entered this little restaurant in October. I didn't regret it! On that day, the well simmered beef sauté was excellent and I dropped on the dessert buffet (delicious salt butter caramel and chocolate mousse, almond biscuits). Again on Montauban in February, I found that the choice of dishes was bigger but always as good. Idem pour les desserts (crumble à fruits, cake choco-banane et crème anglaise. Everything is homemade, even bread (I love). A good meal for 10,50 €, it's not running out of the streets. Too bad it is only open at noon and not the WE (but we can understand, the boss is alone to do everything).
Buffets and dishes are displayed (rare in all restaurants I frequent): everything is homemade, and it's good! I have a very good appetite and I get shaved. Originalities in the buffets: blue salad, salted pie, tapnade... and mellow cocktail dessert, caramelized apple compote, homemade English cream, chocolate mousse... I went there three times and it was different every time, idem for the dish of the day. Very nice welcome is the cook who serves! It's now my favorite restaurant in Montauban.
We tested this restaurant on the day of its opening and the smell of the good kitchen was embalming the room! We tasted the dish of the day: pot to the fire of the sea to the shark, whose cooking was good and the excellent vegetables! The welcome of the boss has been warm and we will not fail to return!
Small traditional old restaurant. All dishes are homemade from the entrance to the dessert! Even lemonade! The boss is nice.Number of limited tables since he is alone, you have to think about booking. Value for money excellent. To be recommended.

Excellent meal for a very modest price. the buffet is varied as well as the choice of the dish of the day. The boss does everything himself and shows his pleasure to do it.
The welcome is warm. The kitchen is good: everything is homemade, even bread! It's very family and we want to go back!
