A mixed bag. The room is lovely, located near the highest point in Bonnieux. It had rained earlier in the day, so we weren 't seated on the terrace, which has a great view. The meal was accompanied by a pianist and a trumpeter who played and sang jazz standards. Some people like this sort of ambiance; as a musician and a music historian, I don 't, especially because it is almost impossible for it to transcend the dreadful cliche of supper club jazz. Recently stayed 5 nights at Capelongue with my partner during a 2 week trip to Europe. We absolutely loved Capelongue, the staff was incredibly friendly, the hotel and rooms were clean and modern. It was a perfect getaway for some quiet time by the pool and exploring some of the neighboring towns (short walk to Bonnieux will incredibly scenic views and amazing architecture). I cannot recommend this hotel enough, can’t wait to go back in the future!
Just wow. The hotel on top of a hill has magical views over the valley and lush gardens. The food and service were impeccable. Do try the truffle pizza to be honest, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Our waiter was super friendly and recommended a great bottle of wine of course a digestif for after dinner. A magical place. A rare pearl in a green setting. Provencal Charm in all its splendor. A beautiful succession of flavors and colors in the plate in a faithful respect of local flavors. Bravo to the leader and his entire team. I recommend!
The ambiance is wonderful and relaxed, however the portions are ridiculously tiny and outrageously expensive. The quality of food is good compared to other restaurants in the area but nothing mind blowing.

We expect to eat very well in a 2 stars. At Édouard Loubet, it’s even better!!!! Everything is in the subtlety of aromatic plants and sauces. Beautiful moment.
