I recently visited La Bête à Pain in Griffintown and I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere and design of the bakery. The exposed brick, wooden beams, and industrial decor give the space a comfortable yet modern feel that is welcoming to anyone who walks through the doors.The bakery itself is filled with an amazing array of freshly baked goods, from bread to pastries. This bakery in Griffintown is fantastic! It has a charming atmosphere and offers a wide variety of breads, baked goods, and sandwiches. One of the best almond croissants I've ever had—it’s soft, flaky, and packed with almond flavor. I also tried the chausson aux pommes, a butter croissant, and a chocolate almond croissant, all of which were delicious. Be sure to arrive early if you want an almond croissant, as they sold out twice before lunchtime! I can’t wait to come back and try the bread. This is definitely my new favorite bakery in Griffintown.

Living right by this place, it’s become my favourite spot to start my day. If you ever go for their ham sandwich, be mindful of their spices Dijon mustard put my mouth on fire!! Also the sandwich is definitely to share or you’ll have two meals. My favourites are their jambon brioche and Danish raisin pastry.Great service too!!!

The sandwiches here are fantastic! They didn't have exactly what I was looking for on the menu, but the staff were accommodating and crafted something special for me. It doesn't seem like a typical takeout spot, but they kindly provided a box for me to take my sandwich with me.

Was here on a business trip and a colleague pointed me in the direction of this wonderful place. Great coffee, tasty, simple menu for breakfast. And had phenomenal customer service! Definitely worth a try if you're in Montreal. I'll definitely be back!

Love this spot in Griffintown, nice bakery-cafe, decent brunch, live atmosphere which you’ll enjoy start your day with a delicious breakfast over there.They bake nice breads,weirdly they don`t have slicer,but in general is a nice place.

This is a fantastic pastry shop with a wide selection of breads, including both sweet and savory options. They also offer a small brunch menu. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend trying the flat white!

Grilled cheese sandwich was really good.Smoked Salmon croissant as well..But I am not sure about the prices.. I think they are on higher side.Service was good.
