L.a. Bistro Canton

This is a lovely little spot off the beaten path in Canton. It's worth looking for. The food is really tasty, and the portions are ginormous. Decor is nicely done. The staff are super attentive. Our waiter was fantastic. It's the kind of place where you'll never have to ask for anything, things will just appear as if by magic. I started with a little seafood soup number. If I'd have known how huge my entree was going to be, I would have skipped it. What a shame that would have been because the soup was delicious. Um, interesting. I 'm not sure what to say. Tries to be fine dining but you 're sitting in a slightly upgraded diner. No alcohol. The dishes are mostly in the $18-$35 range, though you could spend $85 on a steak if you wanted to. (Not here, please). All of the dishes I saw were smothered in the same white cream sauce, which tasted like a ton of butter and cream. I 'm a little suspicious of all the positive reviews. But who knows, it 's not to say it didn 't taste good. Just a bit overpriced. My friend loved his, so to each their own!

A true gem. It is rare to find a restaurant like L.A. Bistro that provides genuinely delicious food with unique menu offerings and great service. My mom is very picky and dislikes many of the restaurants I have taken her to, but she loves the Diavolo pasta and bread here. There is something for everyone to enjoy on their vast menu. The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly and great. He had a sense of humor, which lightens your mood. The atmosphere is perfect, with no plates banging in your ear. The ambiance is pretty cool. Inside is simple and elegant. The outdoor patio is comfortable and wonderful with flowers and open air (see pictures). Service was attentive and over the top welcoming. Al, the owner, personally ensured that our experience was perfect. The food was delicious fresh. Highly recommended! A hidden gem.

This was a place we chose based on location rather than reputation, but it did not disappoint. Service was great (even for our part of seven), and the meals were tasty and filling.
