La Bistro Cervantina

Bar in the center of Alcala, which was close to the Medieval market that is held these days in October there. 4 friends have gone and we have ordered 4 drinks which do not include the tapa with this one, you have to pay separately €1, €3, €5 or €8 depending on the quality of the tapa you want. We ordered 4 tapas for €1 of hamburger on a bed of potatoes which was very good and 4 for €1 of Iberian ham croquette bocheta, which was very strong in flavor and bitter. Two portions, one of potatoes with 3 sauces and another of chicken crunch with potatoes that were very good, natural potatoes. Very friendly service and very good attention. Total of everything with 10 soft drinks that we ordered, it was about €55, less than €14 per head.

This is a great spot to have some tapas and raciones (sharers). They have traditional tapas, some of them with a modern twist. Very well done, and prices are good €1 to €3 depending on the tapa, and they are quite big. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating.

El menú de tapas se sintió un poco misterioso al principio, pero resultó muy bien. Combinar todo parecía que estaríamos gastando demasiado, pero nada de esta experiencia decepcionó. Mi único consejo es ordenar primero el 'Secreto'.

El camarero fue muy amable y servicial. El costo es bastante bajo, y el tamaño de las tapas es bastante grande y salió de la cocina muy rápido.
