La Bodega - Reservar una mesa

We found the place ideally located, with car parking and some playing space for the kids. We wanted to give a four star rating for the quality of the food , but three hours were a bit too much, although we weren't even in a hurry. Weve seen other people complaining about the speed and bad organization, and we understood the complaints. But okay , cocktails were very tasty, the tapas plate was various and decently priced, the main dishes were OK (although I've had better paella before, and when you add "maison" to the name, the expectations are higher...). Also, when you call your restaurant "la Bodega", one would expect much more Spanish-style dishes on the menu, but we found much more traditional French specialities. Typical Spanish food combined with faster serving would have deserved a four star rating...

This bodega in the village of Montbazon was visited in connection with a large family party. The restaurant did its best and managed handling 40 people at the same time. Lot of parking space on the plus side, but the fact that they did not...turn off disturbing back ground music although asked several times is on the negative side. It was very disturbing when we wanted to communicate and we were the only guests inside.

Food was terrible. It was pre-prepared and probably just microwaved to order. This was the third visit, previous times but too bad, this time not good. Won't go there again.
