La Bodeguita Vejer De La Frontera

At 22.00 we decided to have dinner with the family in the centre of Vejer de la Frontera. The obvious tool to check was TripAdvisor and I dare to filter for Italian cuisine in Spain ... and use the functionality reserve your table ... and...... La Tarantella popped up. After reading a couple of reviews, I decided this is good enough and I reservered. Done. The restaurant offers a beautiful panorama from the surroundings ... so, I assume from the pictures because we saw nothing but dark as we arrived at 22.30. Service was swift, service of waitress was ok ... and the pizzas and pastas we had .... were ok. In two words: good enough So ... if you want to change for Italian food one night whilst...

we went to la tarantella to celebrate my man's birthday. we were guided by a beautiful garden in the upper floor, which then offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the local landscape. the garden of the terrace has a beautiful atmosphere. it offers a beautiful view of the sunset. behind the mill. the pizzas were simply the best in Spain, no exaggeration. the whole staff was really helpful and cared for everyone. we had in the night a beautiful wein, from the contrary when they visit vejer, please do not forget to pay a visit to la tarantella. it is just two minutes to walk from “Plaza de España” o “Plaza de los Pescaitos” and very close to the local hotels. the prices are really good, fits...

this restaurant ne the best views over the feige vista under vejer. but for an Italian restaurant that spaghetti bolognaise did not serve was like an English pub that did not really sell. they could not offer mojito, such a double-hammy for my wife....So their second choice of the main (I can't remember what it was, but a pasta bowl) was very bland. Although I enjoyed my eating and beer and as I said that the intention and the imagination were fantastic, we made the feeling that the whole experience was disappointing.

what a good idea! I'm sorry to say that was the best that la tarantella had to offer. eating was okay, nothing special. the service we received at our visit was really bad. our waiter didn't seem to listen to any of us ask for bread, more water or another bottle of wine.

eat very good, service very bad and slow. too busy prepping tables for the next covers, had no dessert, asked three times after menu never arrived, we also had to go to the owner to ask for bill. it'll be another time when the food was good.
