La Boucherie - Reserva de mesa

Having enjoyed a good starter we were looking forward to enjoying a nice main meal (steak). Unfortunately what followed was not a good experience with the steak not having been properly cooked. We sent the meals back and they were quickly replaced by even worse steaks. In the end we left our meals and settled up. We were not offered any form of apology by the lead staff member. This experience was all the more disappointing since after a long journey from the UK we were really looking forward to a good evening meal and the establishment had come recommended by our hotel. Had a meal here whilst staying at the Ibis, breaking our journey back from the Alps. It was recommended by the Ibis staff who provided a 15% discount voucher. They were keen to explain that if was not typical French cuisine. How right they were! It would be so easy to imagine yourself in an American diner! That said, the service was friendly and efficient, and the steak and burger very good. Overall a good choice for Ibis inmates, and reasonable price with the discount.

Having used this establishement at Bethune for the 1st time i had to write about it High quality cuts of Meats cooked to perfection,very energetic staff,good level of service great value for money,clean as most of The La Boucherie that we have ever been to. Staying at the Ibis, we went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the staff. The restaurant staff were friendly and efficient and the ambience was good. I had the pot au feu which was excellent and the others had boeuf and carrots, and a steak with pepper sauce, both of which were also excellent. Fairly difficult menu to navigate (even the English one) but the meal deal is great value and good quality. The steak was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed it and nice staff. 15% discount voucher for this restaurant given out at the Ibis hotel 200 metres away to residents.

Very good meat and good service. Prices are in line with the most of the restaurant in the area. I will be back for sure because I like the meat and i think this place serve it good

Friendly staff and good food. Third time here and again very good.The food is simple, but very tasty. Nice atmosphere.
