As we were staying 2 miles outside of Bergerac we decided to find a more local restaurant to our hotel. Although it was still a couple of minutes drive we decided to try after reading several reviews where the steaks received some praise. Well the first night we walked in and received a nice welcome and a young lad came across to our table and was most helpful with our limited French even getting us menus in English. We both ordered steak and frites and wine. The wine arrived promptly and the food a short while after. It's not our canteen, but we're going pretty often. restaurant well placed. very easy access and parking. very fast support. service more or less alert. restaurant adapted to the working hours constraints. We can eat in an hour. food side: dishes, meat, suggestions of the day are correct. On the friendly side, it's a pile or a face! When you pay, some people finish our meal with a smile. others make us understand, with a despicable vindicative tone, that we are here to eat, shut up and pay. Everything's fine as long as you have nothing to challenge! "The client is king"? Butchery, we're commercials, not merchants!
This chain restaurant is like a modern cafeteria but with high prices for that type ,of ambience. The food, however, is quite good (especially if you are a beef lover! . We found the highly coloured and illustrated menu cards difficult to decipher a plain card listing the dishes and their prices would have been better. If you like plastic picture menus showing you the plastic food to come, and are happy to pay high prices for it, then this place is for you. Indifferent meat in horrible gloopy sauces, all in a fake American Diner pastiche. We really hated this place. Maybe others will see it differently. One of us had an upset stomach afterwards, but we can't be sure what the cause was... maybe a coincidence. But the staff were very friendly and smiley.
this restaurant is located 5 minutes from the commercial area of bergerac, facing the bowling. The decoration conforms to the standards of the badge. The dishes are classic and of acceptable quality. Only flat, the anarchical and interminable command. I regretted a certain rigidity in the way of talking about staff. I recommend this establishment if you're just hungry but don't need to ask questions to staff.
concept perfectly rodent given the number of broths that frequent this kind of establishment! I still don't understand how we can attract so many people with a scallop and 4 fries frozen at this price there (!what is trip advisor if it is to go to a chain restaurant instead of promoting a good restaurant!)
Stopped off here one night for dinner during our trip to France and had a really delicious salad, but unfortunately I was put off with the uninvited guests that were in the restaurant that night, i.e Flies.....Food prices ok, probably return but not to that one. Reserva una mesa ahora
