La Boule D'or - Reservar una mesa

You might think it is just a simple restaurant in Moulis, or a traditional / family restaurant. It is all of that and more .You got business mens , families , locals. The menu is traditional , although i ate there the best steak I've eaten in ages. It was also perfectly cooked. Some Chefs in more prestigious or higher end restaurant should learn from this place.The owner run a really good and relax service. If you are in the area , it's the place to go .

On our journey up the west coast of France , we enjoyed a very pleasant evening meal at La Boule d'Or in Moulis en Medoc. The dining room is beautifully proportioned and service was friendly. Our food was all delicious and our only criticism was that the duck confit was a little over cooked. Everything else; fish, starters, desserts and wine were all perfect.

Service was a little slow, but then again I was sunny and lunchtime. Easy to find and park the owner speaks English the menu a little small and the opening times are very small indeed. The food was well cooked and enjoyable.

Great restaurant. All food is freshly prepared and quality is great. Excellent fish and duck. Good and fresh salads. Very highly recommended.
