Nous étions 4 adultes et 3 enfants 2 à 4 ans. Nous fûmes places dehors sous un grand parasol bien dimensionné. Atmosphère bucolique parfaite. Certes la nourriture est bien cuisinée, fraîche bien présentée, mais le service lent et oublieux... Une légère odeur févale a accompagné notre repas, cela du à 2 étrons canins déposés aux abords de notre table... La boite chaude commandée fut livrée sans les patates, qui finirent par arriver 15 minutes plus tard après 3 relances et quand le fromage était devenu froid! Bon, avec trois fois rien d'effort service en plus, c'était bien mieux. Au moment de payer une addition raisonnable, une petite remise fut proposée, dans que je la demande. Un bon point.
On a hot afternoon when all the others are closed the bovate remains open between 2 services.28 degrees, we appreciate the very nice shaded terrace and especially the pleasant welcome we are given. As a family we enjoy a drink and an ice cream. The smiling team even gives us directions for our hikes. We didn't have the opportunity to taste your cuisine but for the rest don't change anything the service is perfect
Un lieu chaleureux à l’image du personnel et du propriétaire et un repas délicieux et très copieux . Des plats traditionnels savoyards servis généreusement avec des produits de qualité qui ont ravi nos papilles ! Une belle déco et ambiance cocooning . Le personnel très sympathique avec qui , il est facile et très agréable d’échanger.
We ate there for lunch. The terrace is very pleasant (flowers and beautiful view of the mountains) while being in the shade thanks to a huge parasol which is great. The food was good, as was the welcome. The restaurant gives the impression of being very well run: very clean and tidy. The toilets were also very clean.

A warm place like the staff and the owner and a delicious and very hearty meal. Traditional Savoyard dishes generously served with quality products that will delight our taste buds! A beautiful decor and cocooning atmosphere. The very friendly staff with whom it is easy and very pleasant to communicate.
This summer, a very good tuna steak with tasty vegetables on the terrace and a friendly, smiling welcome! Frankly, the lunch dish changes every day... We appreciate it.. Thank you

Passage obligated at every end of our stay in Montchavin. Nice and quick staff and delicious fondue... next year I hope...
