La Brasserie Du General

We had no reservation on a very busy Saturday night. But we were warmly welcomed and seated outside to wait for a table, which only took 10 minutes. Drinks were served quickly. After we received our table, a short wait later, our order was taken. The steaks ordered were nothing short of perfect and delicious. It was a wonderful experience and we will return. Prices were reasonable for what you receive so a good value proposition.

The kitchen doesn’t open until 7:30 pm so I went for a walk near the lake. I ordered the confit de canard and it was more succulent than the dick I had years ago at a brasserie on Haussmann Blvd in Paris. The staff was very attentive and accommodating throughout dinner.

Good atmosphere and helpful, frtiendly staff. Probably better to make a reservation because the food is delicious and this brasserie is well worth a visit

Good food and nice interior. Service and menu also in English which was nice since we don’t speak French. Friendly service. Typical French brasserie.

Arrived here on a Monday when most places were closed. Managed to get a table and the food and service was excellent.. Well worth a visit
