La Brasserie du General

we had no reservation on a very busy Saturday night. but we were welcome and sitting outside to wait for a table that lasted only 10 minutes. Drinks were served quickly. After we got our table, a short waiting period later, our order became....The ordered steaks were nothing short of perfect and tasty. it was a wonderful experience and we will return. the prices were appropriate for what they receive such a good value presentation.

the kitchen does not open until 19:30 clock, so I went for a walk near the lake. I ordered the confit de canard and it was more succultivated than the **** I had in a brasserie on Haussmann blvd in paris years ago. that was personal. very attentive and present during dinner.

good food and nice interieur. service and menu also in English what was nice as we don't speak French. friendly service. typical French brasserie.

Arrived here on a Monday when most places were closed. Managed to get a table and the food and service was excellent.. Well worth a visit

we had a good Dininig experience in thonon. nice and cozy dinner for friends and families! try it when it is there!
