La Brasserie du Palais

we visited with a group of friends at the silvester. the brasserie looked very firm with all Christmas decorations up and made the occasion special. the service was good and wait staff attentive and friendly. even if there was a set menu. the cook had coffeeful vegetarian dishes as alternative (ordered in advance). we enjoyed the courses, but thought the sea bass was fantastic with a wonderful mix of aromen. will certainly visit again very soon.

We ate here on several occasions as we were so impressed the first time. Not a touristy place but aimed at locals. Like a traditional grandmother's home cooking for an all family Sunday lunch is the best way I can describe the style. Not ostentatious,...just good food. Accent is on local dishes but the choice is wide enough to suit almost all palates.

we ate here on a Monday evening and the food was good (can all the dishes recommend especially with honey) and the service friendly. this restaurant does not try to appeal especially to the tourism market, but is everything. that is better for that while they are all welcome. will return.

A very nice place to have a meal. We had lunch there, staff extremely friendly and will explain anything you don't understand. I am told by an extremely good friend who I had lunch with that the banana splits are delightful. So give it a...try, you won't be disappointed.

nice bistro near gambetta parking, choice of dishes on menu du jour, cheap personal friendly and fast service
