Great way to beat the lunch rush is the get up early and get there around opening time. Of course this was just our usual food crawl before running errands. We split a 405 sandwich and gf was like found our new bbq sandwich place if we ever craving it! I'm always down for delicious food without a crowd. We were literally one of two tables eating here at noon on a sunday lol. You just go in, order and pay at the front and take a seat and they bring the food to you, simple as that.The brisket in the sandwich was so tender and juicy dripping out of the bun juice levels of flavor! I don't recall too much of the truffle fries but we left a few on the plat so it wasn't part of the clean plate club...
As someone from the BBQ hub of Kansas City, I'm constantly searching for excellent smoked brisket. If you're on the same quest, I suggest checking out this place. It is a bit pricey, but that's typical for quality brisket. The sauce didn't quite hit the mark for me, but the beef was outstanding. It had a great smoky flavor, and my sandwich was moist, juicy, and tender. The fries, however, were just average. I'd definitely return, but I made a special trip to get there. Parking is available in the strip mall's public lot.
I ordered the pulled chicken and grease seeped through the to go container and through the bag, onto my clothes. I have never had pulled chicken that was greasy in my whole life. The brisket was very fatty and greasy we didn’t even finish our food and threw it away. The chicken was also very bland.
The brisket is amazing and the place is clean and has great employees, If you want the brisket by the pound, do not order the pound. I have a work around for you less of a price, I will complete this review and post a photo by next week.

I never thought I’d say “The 405 put a smile on my face!” The owner is very hospitable and super nice. The smell and warm lighting set the mood for a nice comforting meal. Must try. Will be back.

Outstanding customer service, their food was freshly, deliciously made with good flavor. It was definitely worth what I paid for. Will be returning.
Wow, this place has the best brisket and pulled pork I’ve ever tasted! You definitely need to check it out.
