This is a lovely establishment that includes a restaurant, a tea room, and a chocolate shop, each with its own entrance. The chocolate shop offers a selection of handmade, delicious chocolates along with coffee, frappuccinos, hot chocolate, and other treats. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the place is always clean and elegantly decorated. They also offer chocolates infused with alcohol, which is a unique touch. Each piece of chocolate is meticulously crafted and delightful. I appreciate that the proceeds from the elephant chocolates go toward saving elephants.
Review is only for the chocolate shop. Have been there almost annually for the past 17 years. This time servers looked lost and their service was incredibly slow: 45 minute wait for 2 hot chocolates, a cappuccino., and two desserts that were already made. The drinks were very expensive, and frankly, the hot chocolate, both milk and dark, is so sweet that it is hard to drink. The desserts were good but small. I don?t need to go back there.
It was the week after Christmas and all through the house, every creature was enjoying their Burdick hot chocolate and tasty pastries. The restaurant had a festive atmosphere, helpful service, and a variety of hot and cold drinks to choose from. The prices were higher due to the high quality and artistic presentation of the food and drinks.
Amazing chocolates and scrumptious desserts. I would compare the quality of the chocolates to La Maison du Chocolat and the cakes to offerings at good French patisserie or German konditorei. This is our first time to the Walpole shop, but we have been to the shops in Boston and Harvard Square many times and have never been disappointed.

We've enjoyed coming down here a couple times now. We have tried a few different hot chocolate drinks with an added shot of espresso. So far the Venezuela has been my most favorite. The pastries have been an enjoyable addition to our brunch.
I can't say enough about the outstanding chocolates at this restaurant. They may be pricey, but worth every bite. The hot chocolate is also amazing, just ask for some hot milk to balance out the sweetness. Enjoy!

L.A. Burdicks has the best chocolate around, and they've earned that reputation! They make great gifts, and they have plenty of options to pamper yourself with.

The food is delicious, but expensive. There is limited seating both inside and outside. The chocolates and coffee are top-notch.
