La Cabana Del Canario

I am always reluctant to order pasta away from an Italian restaurant but really fancied some this lunchtime. We regularly visit this place (affectionately known to us locals as the Chicken Shack) as it is only minutes walk from home and has ample room...for my husbands wheelchair, but this is the first time I have tried the pasta that is advertised as homemade and freshly made daily. I ordered the pasta of the day with Marinera sauce and it was absolutely superb. A rich, creamy sauce full of large and small prawns, squid, large and small clams, baby octopus and very large mussels. My husband had cans of diet coke plus two coffees whilst I had two glasses of very drinkable rose wine plus two...

just a few kilometers from torrox costa on the road to nerja is this street restaurant la cabana del canario. it was a nice coffee break on our jogging route for us. many, too often we have read the menu. but. Now it is finally in one of the last days of the februar passes our pastas, one with laughs, the other with mariscos, where great price. Tasty portions assured us again that the key is kitchen, not looks like the outside side. And the other thing is to keep on eye where the local sitting / eating. we highly recommend la cabana del canario.

Un bar algo deteriorado, pero muy acogedor, situado en la carretera principal de la costa, justo enfrente de la playa de El Peñoncillo (en el extremo de Nerja de Torrox Costa), por lo que es inevitable algo de ruido del tráfico. Tapas y platos principales muy bien de precio, como el medio pollo asado con papas fritas o papas bravas canarias, que es insuperable por solo euros y la brocheta de sardinas a la parrilla por solo euros es otro favorito firme. También tienen buenos filetes.

This Month a special menu of game including wild boar venison and duck cooked in a traditional style all home cooked I had a casserole which was nice.Just speak to Pepe the owner or Jessi the waiter they understand English and are very helpful when...you decide what to have. Great for a casual lunch, quite rough ready but food is great. We had the chicken and potatoes another dish which consisted of potato (pobre style), chorizo, eggs and I cant remember what else, both were good and very reasonable. Pizza looked good...too.

Buena comida, precios razonables, buena ubicación (frente a la playa pero al otro lado de la carretera principal). La única objeción es que los dueños permiten fumar dentro, lo cual es ilegal aquí en España.

realmente gran valor, tapas son y una comida de buen servicio y comida sabrosa, pueden sentarse en el lado de la calle, dentro o también hay una zona de jardín al lado Reserva una mesa ahora

no juzgues un libro de su portada. los trabajadores tienen tan bienvenida a nosotros cada vez y gran comer para arrancar del bbq a la pasta, absolutamente hermoso.
