Absolutely no fuss at all. This place is tiny 16 places means that the 'Cabane ' is packed! Francis Dubourg comes up from Arcachon every week with his oysters and opens up his little Cabane! He serves a dozen oysters (usually 13! and offers white wine to accompany it. The wine glass keeps being filled from a bottle that seems never to empty! His assistant, Segolene, is friendly and cheerful and Francis talks endlessly about the 'Rugby ' and his passion for oysters! And after a dozen oysters you might have another dozen and then 'Foie Gras ' or 'Magret de Canard ' and then the most excellent 'Brebis ' followed by 'Canelles '! Tiny place in an unglamorous location, but it’s been a family business for over 20 years. The oysters are amazing — as fresh and briny as you’d get right next to the ocean in the Southwest of France, from whence they come. Shirt wine list carefully chosen to go with the oysters. Make a reservation if you want to be assured of a table — it’s tiny. We went a little after 1 on a Wednesday afternoon , and pretty much had it to ourselves. We had a great time talking to the proprietor. There are a lot of fancier places you can go, but this place won’t disappoint or break the bank.
coming from Verona, town where eating fish in general and seafood in particular is a privilege for some, we approached this place announced by the lonely planet guide with distrust and we were totally " kidnapped": very kind staff, always available for one to recommend, wonderful oysters, wonderful foie gras, perfect wine agreements. Try! We spent 60 euros for: 2 plates of 12 (or maybe 13) oysters each, two plates of foie gras, 3 glasses of white wine and 2 glasses of sweet wine. go there!!!
I found this place on tripadvisor and decided to try it. As an oyster lover, I could not have been more satisfied. The menu is very basic oysters of various types and foie gras. The owner is very personable, particularly if you speak French but he can help people in ENglish as well. He offered me a free armagnac, which was a wonderful way to conclude. Good prices, too. I will return the next time I am in Paris.

near the train station mounts a hut of the Arcachon basin with producer oysters that apply traditional methods. delicious result! plus the place is extremely nice. The night we were there, the producer was present and we were able to talk to him for a long time. exciting. really a place to remember for those who love oysters and places a little shifted.
Every time I'm at a bet, I never fail to stop for lunch in this little place of Montparnasse held by two very nice ladies. very few tables, small but wonderful oysters, foie gras of the best honest wines. and the best is the addition that never disappoints....... the end is always a very pleasant conversation with the owners!
Wonderful idea of oysters from producer to your table as same owner. Good house wine, nice basque french smoked ham or foir gras or duck magret. Dont miss the goat cheese and the dessert eith coffee (cafe gourmand) And the armagnac liquor. A must .
