An easy train ride from Bordeaux, a pleasant walk from the station and a wait in the queue for about 20 minutes Then we were seated and presented with the best oysters I have ever tasted, and I’ve had a few in my lifetime I always believed you couldn’t get oysters in a month without an R……wrong After seeing a doco I have wanted to go here since 2018, together with the freshest prawns and a bottle of Rosé….it’s the Simple things that can make you the happiest
'It is obligatory to eat oysters ' is what the waitress told me when I asked if we could just get a drink so we did! Very simple menu of wine, oysters, prawns and other seafood no hot food or fizzy drinks. Atmospheric and rustic setting, great to sit outside at a picnic table and enjoy some super fresh seafood. Not a place to linger but a great oyster pit stop to start the evening. Get there early in August to avoid a queue.
Great terrace, very nice place to be in order to enjoy a nice lunch or diner with great oysters, shrimps, whelks, pâté and wine. Very nice place. Great staff too!

reception and service are really up. the frame is authentic and ideal. seafood is very fresh and excellent. with an excellent price. a ne pas rate !!!
superb oysters and fresh seafood with small wine, cheap. on the other hand do not wait for accompaniment (no kitchen on site.)
