We ordered pizza . Described as fresh stone baked base . It was cheap frozen pizza . Over cooked and to hard to eat . Table service by Eastern European server poor . Had to request black pepper Parmesan condiments. Second drink order...just never arrived . Ambiance poor . Tables grubby . Sorry this place should be magnificent given there is hardly anywhere in the area to eat in the area . The food was supermarket frozen standard . It was relatively busy . Only open 2 hours and catering only for passing trade therefore standards are mediocre . Expensive cheap food .
great food! tasted and freshly prepared, which made it a pleasure with beautiful presentation. last time I enjoyed eating Italian as this was on holiday, in italia, in crotone, that is in calabria. we will definitely visit again, in which I have just booked! the little nitpick, the young hired in the service, were somewhat slow to get a drink order. I don't care that there's a reasonable waiting time to order the food, but it's nice to have a drink while I'm going over the menu what to eat.

Such a shame. We went three times, the first was mostly good with some nice authentic tasting Italian dishes, good service and an enjoyable visit. The next two visits were both really nothing like what you would hope from an independent family restaurant. Service...was great from a waitress and a brittany. The food was incredibly bland, slow to arrive and didn't feel like it was from a specialist Italian. The bill was wrong the second time and they seemed upset when questioned.
This restaurant serves amazing food! The dishes are freshly made and delicious, with beautiful presentation. The last time I experienced Italian cuisine this good was on vacation in Crotone, Calabria. I will definitely be visiting again soon. The only minor issue was that the young staff were a bit slow to take a drink order. It's nice to have a drink while deciding what to eat, but overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.
We booked this place as it was our first night and it was closest to us. Very pleasantly surprised. All three of us loved our food and thought the prices were really decent value. Service from the young staff was also excellent.
We visited here last night and we must say we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and very authentic, the staff were attentive, polite and the atmosphere was lovely too! Definitely recommend.

La Calabria is now my favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food and wine are excellent, and you definitely won't leave hungry. Fantastic food!!
Visited last night. Absolutely amazing food. Thoroughly enjoyed. So fresh and tasty. Can't wait to return. Lovely atmosphere
