La Calabrisella

This is home cooked south Italian food at its best, the way I only got to eat it at the homes of my south Italian friends. Very, very good pasta, seafood and pizza (real, Italian, with the proper flower), lovely hosts. The ambiance reminds of south Italian neon lighted trattorias - but don't we all know, that there you find the best foods :), also the wine was very good, go for the white with natural fizz!

We arrived Salzburg in the evening. Tired after a long day in the car. We were ready for bed, but needed something to eat. We stopped at the first restaurant we fond. That was luck. The owners are very italian. Smiling, laughing, talking. We didn't understand everything, but that doesn't matter. The food are good, and there is a lot of it. We are for sure having a good time.

Outstanding italian restaurant owned by real italians. The chef is very nice. The pizza is genuine homemade and is one of the best if have ever tried. The place is a bit hot and old fashioned but the food is awesome. I strongly recommend this place. You can have a full menu for 15-25€

The personal is very friendly, kind and direct. I had my food served within 10 min after having ordered. Would highly recommend the Minestrone soup, it was one of the best ones I have ever had.
