La Cale Bar Restaurant

It's a fairly recent restaurant in Puy l'Evêque. It is located on the edge of the river and has a lovely terrace with river view. I eat vegan, so I was very happy to see that they have a vegetarian hamburger that can be made vegan. They also have other options such as houmous and large salads. I was very happy with my meal, hearty and nicely served! Wine and beer cards are vast. They will open a second terrace, a cozy tea lounge area and add gluten-free options to the menu. Beautiful setting, a very pleasant reception and quality meals in reasonable budgets. And what a surprise to be offered a wide range of vegan/plant products and options in a small village like this!
