First ever visit to this small tapas restaurant. Four of us plus Madge reserved a post cinema table. Shared a bottle of wine and several dishes. All very good from calamari, ribs, meatballs, chicken to salad, tortilla, goat cheese balls, patatas bravas and bread. About £75. Toilets up some steep steps. Some outdoor seating in front but no use on a typical August bank holiday Sunday. Vegetarian options: Veggie options. Kid-friendliness: Young kids were present.
The restaurant is nice enough and the service was decent considering it was a Friday evening. The food though leaves a lot to be desired. The menu is pretty unimaginative to start with and the dishes themselves are far from memorable. It doesn’t get much more exciting than patatas bravas or morcilla (black pudding). The gambas were far too oily and should be avoided. If you’re after decent tapas, go to San Juan in Chorlton. Price per person: £30–40
What a brilliant night. We went for our wedding anniversary and had a great time. The staff were incredible, especially Ash and another lady with a french plait (didn't catch her name) They made us smile and laugh all evening. Fabulous atmosphere and reasonable pricing. "Food and drink options are great! Such a clean breakfast. I opted for the vegetarian breakfast. Service was 5 star, very friendly staff. Plenty of space inside with a seating area outside. Highly recommend visiting!!"
