La Cantina - Reserva de mesa

I had the good fortune to have dinner at La Cantina Italian Chophouse with a group of colleagues while in Chicago for a business meeting. It was a great experience! We were given the choice of 3 entrees: eggplant parm, penne with a chicken cream sauce and lasagna. All delicious. The meals were served timely and efficiently to 20 guests. Choice of soup or Caesar or mixed green salad was also offered. To finish off the meal, I had lemon sorbet and a decaffeinated cappuccino. All were very yummy. I was especially happy that gluten free pasta was available.

Ordered mussels for an appetizer and they were great. Filet mignon was cooked just the way I ordered and delicious, lobster ravioli was also great. My wife ordered a linguini seafood dish which was delicious. I asked the server about a wine suggestion and she wasn’t exactly sure what to recommend, but a really great overall experience. Attentive staff, great food, and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend.

The salmon dish was excellent, but the bone-in ribeye was tough and chewy, which is not acceptable for a good ribeye. The staff was friendly. Reserva una mesa ahora

Good, but pricey. $23 for chicken fettuccine alfredo!
