How the palate enjoys this simple dish from Berciano, where the flavors are so authentic that they take us back to childhood. And that lettuce and those leeks; and those sweet tomatoes, and those claudias that are chocolates. And that vine that protects us from the sun. And those rustic benches that invite leisurely chatter. And that silence. And those laughs. And Sara, affectionate Sara, making it possible for this corner, her cantina in Montes de Valdueza, to continue to be an oasis of peace and friendship. PS: And those nuts, those shells, that will make the Valley of Silence accompany us throughout the winter. Thank you !!
Place with a special charm, it seems that time has turned the corner and passed by. Homemade food, simple, but that has tasted glorious with its house wine, from the benches and table on the porch with the breeze from the mountains. Sara has received and treated us with a pleasant and familiar treatment. An experience to repeat. I recommend doing a route around the area, and as a icing on the cake, Sara's Cantina, to celebrate with sausages, wine, and their plate of eggs with chorizo. We will be back. Thank you Sara.
When I arrived it was closed and I have had the real privilege and honor that they wanted to open it for me. (but not before making sure that it was not a bother to do it exclusively) There are no words to describe the place, the chat with Jose, the food, the quality, the wine, the chorizo, the pork shoulder EVERYTHING.
