"Had lunch for a party of 5. Very warm staff, helpful and kind. Wood oven pizza freshly made in open space, well recommend. Kids menu (burger or small pizza). Also quite nice burgers for adult. Unfortunately NO gluten free option."

Small restaurant with few tables downstairs and too many tables (20 places? upstairs in a small dining room. Many customers choose pizzas but the duck and the salmon we chose were good as well. Unfortunately when all tables are occupied there is no air upstairs in that small dining room without AC and with the small windows closed. Too hot to enjoy the meal: we went away without ordering the dessert. The owner should consider this.

The overall experience was average. The service was nice and fast with no rush. The beer selection is poor but they have nice wine options. Covid dispositions are strong and politely enforced. We all had pizzas, which are below average. The dough is fine, but the quality of the ingredients is low. Way too much cheese, very greasy, you should go for a basic one, hoping they will switch to an homemade tomato sauce.

Stopped here early on a warm evening. Wanted to eat outside. Waiter was a bit odd about letting us sit at a table that was laid for four there were none laid for two! All the staff were a bit hasty and rushed, not friendly. Ordered pizza. Husband enjoyed his quatre fromage. Mine was disappointing. Very little flavour pizza base tasted like cream crackers. Won’t be going there again .

Visited La Cantine after reading previous reviews but found Calzone pizza disappointing. Although extremely hot, the dough had not had time to cook through and so was raw in places as was the egg inside. Although few tables were taken or appeared reserved the waiter insisted we took a table in a poor position. Uncooked pizza and dirty toilets could do better.
