We were surprised by the fact so many people could be seated in this restaurant upon taking our seats. The day we dined at the restaurant it was quite a warm day and after more people got seated in the restaurant you could feel the temperature rise in the dining room. Although I had asked if one of doors leading to the garden of the restaurant could be opened for some cooler air, it was suggested that the AC could be turned on. We did not experience any difference though and certainly we were not the only ones that had issues with the heat in the dining room. Now the food of the restaurant was very good, prepared with a lot of skill. The first course in particular was a very clever take on chicken with a morel cream sauce. It was the best dish of the evening. Overall the food was good, some combinations did seem a bit strange but still managed to work on the plate. There was also some great value for money here, so I would certainly return given to opportunity.

We went here for dinner and ordered the surprise menu. The degustation is well priced at 60 Euro and consists of 5 dishes. Each dish looked great using pastel colours with spots of faded greens, yellows and tans. The flavours were good and well known. Each dish was well seasoned and the proteins and legumes were all well cooked perfectly. Some of the gels and reductions in the plate were a bit indistinguishable in flavour but looked very pretty.Overall we had a pleasant night, not many surprises and no 'oh my god' moments, but we were content. This was a good restaurant but don't come expecting bells and whistles and culinary explosions. It was pleasant but maybe a tad underwhelming.

We arrived with barely a min to spare for our 1:30pm reservation. The restaurant was located in a house in the suburbs, and typical of the starred Michelin setup. My appetizer and entree consisted of a courgette salad with lamb chops, while my wife had the codfish. All of the dishes were well executed, so we couldn't ask for anything more. The veloute they served as an amuse bouche also hit the spot. All in all, it was a good way to start our Bordeaux trip!

We had a wonderful meal in this restaurant on a Friday evening. Everything was beautifully presented and each course had an unusal association of flavours and was absolutely delicious. The service was very good and the wine waiter took us on a wine voyage around Europe. The restaurant was full but the tables are comfortably apart so your neighbours are unable to join in on your conversation. Definiately recommend.
