As a family, we have supported this restaurant for years, so the level of service we received was incredibly disappointing, especially for a family-run business. I tried to contact the restaurant directly that night, only to be told, “we’re closed,” before the call ended abruptly. I followed up with a message on Facebook to express my frustration, but received a terse, rude, and unhelpful response claiming that no booking had been made! The food was 2nd to none. The service was good from start to finish. I'm a smoker and I couldn't believe how comfortable they made the smoking shelter. I had an excellent meal with friendly and efficient staff. For dinner, the experience was wonderful. The price per person was around £20–30. I would rate the food a solid 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well. Highly recommended!
