I had a rather disappointing experience at this restaurant. First off, there was a strange rocking chair that seemed out of place. When our waiter brought us the soup, his demeanor was unprofessional and rude, which made me want to throw it back at him. It felt like he didn’t understand how to treat customers properly. It's important to remember that customers are what keep the business running. The waitstaff definitely needs more training in customer service. If you're not equipped to handle this role, it might be worth considering a change in job. Just a reminder: the tip you receive is a reflection of how well you treat your customers.
I visited the restaurant on Friday, August 30, and ordered two potato tacos, a small horchata, and a green chili burrito with pork through the drive-thru. However, when I got home, I discovered that the burrito didn't contain any meat. I live quite a distance away, and the phone number for this location only allows me to leave a message—no one ever answers. I've left two messages and received no response. Since I will be back in Anaheim soon, I plan to return to voice my complaint. The food is too expensive for such a disappointing experience, as the burrito only had rice and some green chili. Overall, the service was very poor.
Pretty average in general. I am gluten free (not celiac) and usually I can eat at a Mexican restaurant. The only thing they had for me was a salad, so I choose not to ear there. My husband and son each had a machete and said they were amazing! ? Our friend had 3 handmade tacos and they were a bit dry. My grandson had the shrimp cocktail and it was OK at best. I gave 3 stars because the service was OK, the machetes were amazing and the rest of the food so-so. So I guess I would highly recommend people going for the machetes, but not much else
The food is truly delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. When the restaurant is busy, it can get quite loud due to the chatter, but I believe there's room for improvement. As for parking, be aware that during lunch hours, the lot tends to fill up quickly. However, there are additional parking spaces available at the back of the establishment.
