Went here with someone who had last been over 20 years ago. At the time it opened, the pizza oven was a new and incredible thing ;-) I'm happy to report that the quality is still top notch even after all these years. We arrived for dinner w/o a reservation. The front part of the restaurant was full and we were escorted to a back room, which was very quiet. Service was good and friendly, even though we were a bit out of the way of the wait staff. We had salads and pizza, which were excellent. I'm sorry we didn't get to sit up front, as it seemed very fun and lively. Given that we visited in January, we didn't get to sit outside either; I'm sure it's lovely seeing as how the restaurant is perc...
first they have confused our reservation. the service is very slow, it took 15 min to order and 75 min to get a pizza! when we asked politely how long we should wait for the food, the owner of the restaurant replied. very rude. he was so arrogant and said that my restaurant is the best in the city and I have 140 guests at the moment (although almost half the restaurant is empty. what a dilussional person he is! . here in this restaurant you will see a customer rather than annoyed! the pasta decorated bland, the pizza top has only 4 slices salami on it, the quality of the food is really under average. never comes again and will not recommend anyone to go here. avoid them at all costs!
We rolled in late one evening after a train ride back from Oktoberfest in Munich. We knew we would be late - so we called ahead and asked that they stay open for a pizza order. We devoured 3 pizzas, water, and wine at 10:30 at night. They were lovely. The pizzas tasted great. When you sit outside on the porch - you are sitting beside the old moat that used to be outside of the city wall. We parked high on the hill and climbed down the old fortress stairs to Toscana. Then climbed back up. Next time we will park closer.
Rude and Unfriendly service from the waiter. I had safron/lemon soup with prawns, the soup was tasty but the prawns were overcooked. For maincourse I had a salat with artichokes and egg. The artichokes were from a can and the salat was not worth eating. No one from the staff asked to our wellbeing or if our food was okay. My husband had lamb chops that was very good though, so I give this place 2 stars. There are plenty of good restaurants in Schwabish Hall, so choose another. Reserva una mesa ahora
Having had several hearty meals we were looking for something different before sitting down to 2 hours if Hamlet in German. This was just the ticket. Pizza as good as any you can find anywhere and my wife's seafood risotto was lovely. Super spot over the moat with stunning views. Highly recommended.
We were not really hungry after being out all day and decided to have salad and pizza. Wow the mixed salad was wonderful and the pizza even better. We thought Austria had good Pizza till we had this. Service was great. It was a rainy evening and inside was nice and cozy.
