Probably the worst eating/drinking experience in all our travels in France. Everything seemed too much effort. It 's a relatively small place specialising in crepes. Perhaps 25 seats outside. On the late lunch day we visited it was perhaps a 1/3rd full. Sequence of events as follows: We 'll be with you shortly, 25 mins or so pass and orders taken for a few crepes, and drinks all round. 10 15 minutes later some pretty average crepes arrive. AFTER these have been eaten the drinks finally appear or half the drinks to be more accurate. The Two orders for English tea started with a teabag sat in cup without water, after waiting many more minutes some hotwater finally arrived, the milk never materialised and a request for some was met with a non . And at 3.70 euros for each English tea it was a bit much to stomach. One of our companions , perhaps wisely went to the other eatery in town by the fountain and was served, had her drink and snack in the time it took us to just get our order placed.

From the centre of the village there is a narrow street leading to the church. On the left, you can see the restaurant with its pretty covered terrace looking out to the cliff gorge. Specialities are the galettes. We had the Quercyoise, thin topped with tasty lardons and caramelised onion, served with a small salad of leaves, gesiers and smoked duck. Lovely ice-creams for dessert – dark chocolate and poire William. After lunch we took a walk through the woodland to the waterfall – only five minutes once you reach the signpost downhill. Total time there and back was around one and a quarter hours.

Ideally placed on the square of the church, in this beautiful little village of old stones in the middle of its cliff circus. A lot of charm. The cakes arrive at a table not folded, which allows to appreciate the fumets and taste them as desired (rolled, sliced, camembert, original presentation for pancakes, and quite welcome here. If you're on the diet, forget it. If you want a good but not heavy meal, with homemade dishes, this is the good place Desserts house, so few. Excellent clafoutis with cherries. Nice terrace. Service not always pro, but always goodwill and smiling. Recommended.

I called 3 times to try to book a table nobody ever answered. We arrived at lunch time and couldn 't get a table (although, all the tables inside were empty). We asked whether we could have one later and were told I can 't tell you when a table would be free . My husband went 30 min later and although some table were free although there was clearly some on the terrace, we were told no we are full, this won 't be possible today . Obviously, they don 't need clients and don 't need to be friendly with tourists! Beware as there are little options in the village!!
