(Veggie review) Great location, just off the busy Pl. St. Sauveur. Welcoming service, olives on the table while we ordered. Helpful that the owner speaks English. Two vegetarian entrees was an excellent start oeuf cocotte and fricassee d 'artichauts (not asperges as on the menu). Both really delicious. Then the standout dish of our week in Caen the 'beautiful vegetarian plate '. It was really was beautiful to look at and to taste. We shared so there would be room for dessert on one evening the raspberry 'soup ' and lemon sorbet, and second time the heavenly chocolate mousse type cake. We had lots of good food in Caen but this was the best. About 47EUR (40GBP) for two of us with a small drink...

mixed advice. restaurant chosen on the occasion of the valentine st and according to the opinions of previous customers. we felt like a form of nonchalance in service. Even if the servers are young, we are understanding, they must be guided by a boss who has not always been very attentive. the dishes we had chosen were no longer offered on the map, because of the lack of stock, a first concerning us. On the other hand, we ate well, the wine was good. in summary, an impression of unfinished performance with, in the end, a set marked by a lack of rigor expected for this occasion. Two or three things to improve and it will be fine.
