My husband and I came across La Casita Olvera by all of the wonderful reviews that we read so we decided to give it a shot. They didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the waiter who tended to us David gave us excellent service. I ordered the chicken enchiladas de Mole and he had the Chile Verde plate. We also had the fresh guacamole as an appetizer. Our waiter prepared it right in front of us. But their cafe de olla is what stole the show for me. I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant for dinner. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. I had the fajita trio and the table side guacamole!!!! Freakin bomb!!!!!!! The house margaritas we delish too! And you get a free shot with your bill that was sooooo good!!!! I will not be going back to this place. I got really bad food poising after having their chilaquiles. The party that I was with also complained that the utensils and coffee cup were not wash correctly. This place is really old and even the seats when you sit on them, sink!
