La Casona - Reservar una mesa

It is a new restaurant opened few months ago. Run by a family. And the familial yet very elegant atmosphere is filling up this place. Unbelievable food! Their calamari are just the best we have ever had. The fish is served with vegetables. Personal touch of the chef is sauce for moules. They serve as well typical catalan food which looks amazing (although we did not taste it this time . The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed, with very elegant yet homy finish. Suitable for any type of events! From small friends family lunch to the wedding! The prices are more than good. Especially for the high quality of food they serve. After visiting a few restaurant in the area we can safely state that this one was the best in the area! Important! Dogs are welcome in the restaurant It is not obvious here in the area. As our dogs always travel with us it is important that they can come along everywhere with us. And in La Casona they are welcome: Big thank you to the team of La Casona Restaurant! As local residents we have been frequenting this restaurant for many years and felt sorry when it closed down approx. two years ago. Since 8 July 2019 it is open again.under new management and with a new menu.Today my family and I tried our luck again you never know but we were delighted. La Casona is definitely back on our wish list. The à la carte menu highlights were the 'fish of the day ' which in our case turned up to be 'Lubina ' (at 16 €uro) and 'Lot ' (at 13 €uro). They were both excellent prepared and at a very 'democratic ' price here in the middle of the turist season. As starter we can highly recommend the Croquettes de Pernil or de Xoriç. Further more they offer a daily menu at 17.50 €uro. We wish the new management Good Luck and promise that we will return.

We regularly eat here when in the area. There is always a good welcome and the food is good and not the same as all the other touristy places on the coast. WE always can recommend the stuffed courgettes, the picantos and the suquet. It deserves to be busier than it is. A menu at the gate may help people to realise it is not as expensive as it looks and is so much better value than eating by the beach.

Lovely restaurant. Teriffic food and wines, super decor througout, all of which makes this a fantastic dining experience.

It was great news to find that La Cason is open again under new management and with the same...or even better quality.
