One of the security guards even returned a bag containing an iPod and a few items he claimed to have taken from one of the thieves, but I couldn't understand why he didn't call the police. The entire situation felt suspicious. Additionally, when we asked about security cameras, the guard informed us that there were none on that side of the building. I will never return to this restaurant, and I'm sharing this experience to warn others, as I wouldn't want anyone else to face a situation like ours.
Maybe it's a standard in the club industry, but the music was starting to hurt my ears with how loud it was. I wouldn't recommend wearing nice ballroom shoes there, the floors got them pretty dirty. Though again I'm not used to clubs. My friend said the band was very good, the workers were very polite. I didn't see a vegan option, though didn't go there to eat so whatever.
I enjoy the food and the music. The rear section is large enough for small parties and the dance floor is a good size. The bathroom is small and the line can be long so be weary of that. The drinks are good but a tad pricey. The music is typically loud so if you are looking for a place to talk or are on a first date select another location but keep Casona on the list.
The restaurant was not open to the public, even though I was able to reserve a table online for my chosen date and time. When my wife and I arrived in the evening, we found the restaurant closed to guests. I double-checked the website, which indicated it was open. We had traveled quite a distance for this visit, and it turned into a very disappointing evening.

Terrible customer service, the manager or whoever she was clearly can’t multi task only focused on one table and then has bad communication skills with her employees because they tell you one thing and she comes with another. Definitely won’t be coming back here based off the customer service alone worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant In a long time !
For some ungodly reason kasona(La Casona) has fell into the same trap as all the other clubs in Hartford when it comes to Latin music.. If you want salsa, bachata or merenge it is not the place to go! Someone PLEASE suggest somewhere to get my SALSA FIX+
HORRIBLE experience. Went to dance/have fun with my boyfriend and people were legitamenttaly TRYING to start fights with us for absolutely no reason. Be careful. people start fights for nothing or out of jealousy. Do NOT come here.
I had planned to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant, but when my friends and I arrived, we found it closed. It seems to be permanently shut down. They really should update their status on Google.

Don't bother going; they're closed. We wasted our time coming here only to find an abandoned building.
