A few blocks from City Center but well worth the walk. This place is definitely a top 10 and we eat there 2 to 3 times per month. Service is very good. The food is so good that we always choose the Menu del Dia . It 's family owned the the menu is decided the same day it is prepared. The restaurant itself is impecable and is family owned. Monica is a charmer, a darling and worth her weight in gold. If you want to eat well, leave happy and be treated like family I highly recommend La Cava de Floro.

We were in Oviedo as part of our tour of Northern Spain. We felt so lucky to find this charming family owned restaurant. Monica, our waitress, helped us navigate the menu. The food was excellent and Monica was just charming. We met her husband and little boy and her mother does the cooking. She brought out something for us to try. This was a most enjoyable evening. We felt so welcome and the food was wonderful. I would highly recommend this charming restaurant on Oviedo.

Members of our tour group found this restaurant not far from our hotel. The restaurant was informal and a place for locals The food and service were terrific. The restaurant is family-owed and our waitress, Monica, is a family member. Monica seemed to enjoy refreshing her English while taking our order. She guided us through the menu and recommended foods typical of Asturia. If you are in Oviedo and are looking for good food and good service, look for La Cava de Floro

Monica showed us attentive hospitality with her team of waiters. Our food and wine was all delicious. Namely, rollinos de cecina con miscuit, croquetas, chipirones fritas, morcilla matachana con langostinos, huevos rotos y arroz con leche. They gave us privacy but were always there when we needed them. A night to remember always. Muchísima gracias!
