La Cave - Reservar una mesa

Yesterday, my husband and I were on a full-day 3 country excursion from BCN and arrived in Ax-en-Thermes at lunchtime. Of the several restaurants offered, we chose La Cave for it 's extended menu, indoor and outdoor tables near the roundabout. My husband chose a grilled pork platter with delicious mustard, while I enjoyed a humungous home-made Beef Hamburger Mountain Tomme platter with full garnishings. Both arrived fast and sizzling as we were among the first to arrive for lunch. The place was full when we left, which is always a good sign. The owners were very welcoming and spoke English too!
