La Cayena - Reservar una mesa

We had high expectations about this place, but it did not meet them. The assorted cheese plate was nothing special (you can buy a much better one at Mercadona or Lidl to have at home for much less). The grilled meat was good, though. We know that the snails are their speciality, although we did not have them. We will certainly try them in another occasion. The worst part was the service, which was not very attentive. We had to move from the table to the bar to have the waiters' attention when we needed some more drinks or food, while they were just chatting at the bar with nothing to do. They have to improve on their service.

Muy buena atención por parte del dueño,muy buena la tabla de carne,el chuletón ,los caracoles..todo de calidad... Sólo un pequeño despiste(el dueño que nos atendió en todo momento,fui a pagar a la barra toda la cuenta porque era una invitación), y nadie sabía que había pagado... nuevamente pidieron la cuenta en la mesa y trajeron una cuenta(cuando ya estaba abonado y si era poco la cuenta no era ni de nuestra mesa).... La misma chica que trajo la cuenta,fue la misma incluso que me había cobrado en la barra.. Por lo demás,por parte del dueño espectacular..repetiremos!!!

Very friendly owners who have very high standards of professionalism ,cleanliness and service. The food was very good and excellent value ,so much so we ate here 3 times during a 1 week visit ! We ate in the lovely restaurant once but preferred the walled terrace as the weather was so good. Good tapas too.
