Attempting to support local restaurant, we were around the corner at soccer game and brought in 3 families of cousins (party of 12)6 adults and 6 kids. As we entered there was only one other table of 4 Seated. Excited thinking it was a safe choice and we would be able to get in and out. Our food took almost an hour to come to the table. Zero accommodations offered during the delay. Kids getting restless waiting for food I finally asked to f we could get some chips or something while we waited. Response was sure and chips and salsa were brought out fairly quickly. My iced tea was not refilled even once in the hour and half or our visit. I wish I could say the food was at least worth the wait....
Went for the first time. A+ for the decor and piano player. Both were outstanding. A+ also for the owner checking on how you are enjoying your dinner. But C- for the food. I don’t mind paying more for really good food but ours was just ok. The melted cheese on my tamales looked like it had been melted and then sat for awhile. The beans, rice and tamales were just a little warm in spots. My husband had the mole and he said it was good but his food was also not warm. The restaurant was not crowded and so I don’t understand why the food couldn’t come to our table in the right temperature. I really wanted to like it but sadly will not be coming back.
Service was awful, 2 people running the whole thing. Food was nothing special and on top of that we both ended up with stomach issues the following morning. Good margaritas however, which is somewhat sad because the food should be the star of the show. To Manu other choices for Mexican to bother coming back to this one.
