There are too many good French restaurants to waste time here. They served us fois Gras instead of pate (yes, they covered the cost but not the point). The duck was overdone. The trout swam in butter, and the soufflé was dry. Nice wine. Oh, they served our entrées to the table adjacent to us. Pricey, and we did not feel special. Disappointed.
For the most part the food was great. My veal liver was excellent but my wifeâs seafood stew was lukewarm. When we told the waiter it was not very warm he was greatly concerned but we were actually already finished eating. We will be happy to return some day.
I'm a bit disappointed this time. The sauce of medallion was very salty and no tiny bit chocolate or taste of chocolate was in the chocolate souffle. My previous experience was great though. Maybe, it was only a bad day.

Georgetown local here. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in years in DC. Everything is exceptional, I highly recommend!

Good place, great service, but…. the water tasted like tap water and I had to pay 6$. Robbery.
