La Chaumiere is situated in the heart of the Lot-et-Garonne countryside, in the centre of a small village about 5 miles from Marmande. It serves traditional French home cooking. We have been eating here for several years, and the quality of food - always fresh & locally-sourced - is outstanding because the chef is passionate about serving the very best to his customers, and will do everything he can to meets his clients needs. There have been times when we have been embarrassed to say that we are allergic to some shell-fish, and without any hassle or annoyance, have been offered a superb alternative.
